Due to the costs of running Google Maps quizzes and hundreds of thousands of plays per month as the site has gotten more popular, I’ve had to implement the following schedule for playing them:
Premium Members:
hugequiz Premium members will be able to play all Google Maps-based quizzes at all times.
Non-Premium members:
EVERY WEEK, non-Premium members will be able to play all Google Maps quizzes in the Africa, Asia, North America (except US-only), Oceania, and South America categories.
EVERY WEEK, non-Premium members will be able to play any non-geography Google Maps quizzes, such as NCAA Division I Schools and Largest Europe Stadiums.
EVERY WEEK, non-Premium members will be able to play Google Maps Europe, US, and World quizzes based on non-city related content, such as 50 Largest Mediterranean Islands and US States.
ALTERNATING WEEKS, non-Premium members will be able to play either the Europe-based Google Maps quizzes, or the US/World-based Google Maps quizzes. Weeks begin Sunday at midnight US Central time. So if you are unable to play a Europe quiz (a message will be displayed), check back and it will be available the next week, similarly with a US/World quiz.
A handful of quizzes that use Street View or Google Maps Directions will remain Premium-only at all times. Examples include Europe 20,000 Km Challenge (Premium Only) and US Google Street View State Streak Challenge (Premium Only).
